What the form collects

• Your email address, which is required.
• Your name, if you choose to provide it.
• Your selected interests: item-owner updates, independent selling-partner updates, or both.
• A record of your consent, including its version and the time it was recorded.

The form does not ask for item details, photos, payment information, marketplace credentials, or account information.

How waitlist information is used

Waitlist records are stored in a dedicated Neon database for the waitlist. The public site and signup endpoint are hosted on Vercel. The form information is used to record the interests you selected and, if Upward sends future updates, to contact you about the technology waitlist.

Signup itself does not send an email. The form’s email address, name, selected interests, and consent record are not sent to general web analytics.

Abuse prevention

To limit automated submissions, the waitlist system stores a keyed digest of a request’s network address for rate limiting, rather than the raw address in the waitlist tables. The digest is marked to expire after ten minutes; expired rate-limit records are cleaned up when later signup requests are processed.

Storage and retention

Waitlist signup records do not currently have an automatic retention or deletion schedule configured. The rate-limit records described above are separate and time-limited. You can request removal of a waitlist record by contacting support@upwardtradingco.com; no response timeframe is promised.
